10 Signs You Are Being Affected By Negative Chi

Mma-Ndu, as our ancestors referred to Humans are energy beings. To love, to feel the need to create value (or even wealth) are all forms of energy. The living world emanates energy. And all of us, are affected by the living environment whether we are conscious about it or not. In Igbo cosmology, this energy flow is known as the Chi. 

However, not all Chi is good. If you’re being affected by a Negative Chi then chances are you not only do not feel so great but in general, you’ll find yourself down on luck or caught in a downward spiral (one obstacle after another). So here are 10 Signs You Are Being Affected By Negative Chi :

1. Constantly drained and tired

You feel exhausted despite the amount of sleep you get every night. Even a nice 8-10 hours sleep coupled with an awesome cup of coffee doesn’t help you stay awake and refreshed. Worse, you wake up feeling tired each day. 

2. Always hiding in your comfort zone

You are uninspired and can’t seem to find the energy to make a change in your life, even if it could be beneficial for you. For example, ditching a toxic relationship, or moving away from a career that has no more prospects for opportunities or progression.

3. Near Success Syndrome: Either you're  a step away or too late

You spend a lot of time honing your craft, grinding at work and burning the midnight oil. You know exactly how things work and you’re almost certain of the outcomes of these activities but somehow you always miss the boat. The investment, the promotion or connecting with the right people. 

4. Paid decently but you never seem to have enough

You’re a busy professional with a steady career and income. You’ve got everything planned out but somehow, the unexpected always creeps up. Wealth just cannot be accumulated and built upon.

You’ve got everything anyone’s ever wanted, yet you’ve always had this niggling feeling of emptiness within you. You find it hard to determine the exact cause of this unhappiness. You yearn to leave an impact to this world, to give back and to make a contribution but nothing seems meaningful.
